...whichever way you look at it!! It's broken all records - the longest (by distance) and duration (time) - this record breaking traffic jam in China in August stretched 100 km, and lasted an incredible 13 days! (Yes, that's right - these are not typos)

Skype's Growth Strategy

- the popular internet communications service provider, may have finally devised a growth strategy, since it's "split" from eBay, back in 2009.

According to Forbes.com,

The company plans to roll out corporate subscription packages ... that will include new tools... Skype equipped consumer televisions, paired with high-definition cameras to create videoconferencing systems thousands of dollars cheaper than the setups Cisco or Polycom sell.

Welcoming 2010 around the world with a BANG!

2009 was a year of upheavals in many ways, all over the world. The events that took place 12-15 months ago have no doubt left an indelible impression on everyone's mind. Gladly, most believe that the worst may be behind us now and New Year's 2009/10 was therefore an opportune way to bid farewell to 2009 and welcome 2010, also the start of another decade in this 21st century, with a BANG!

The world over, celebrations were happening, and as is customary, partied, celebrated and enjoyed themselves. Here's a nice compilation of the fireworks ceremonies from places around the world.
